Prayer
Letter - August 2006
Dear Pastor & church people,
This November we will be three years on the mission field
of Cebu & the Bajau people. Nida and I have being talking about return to
Europe next April 07 for our first furlow. We feel this would be the best time
as it would give us and the kids a little time to spend with
my parents before we will send them to a Christian school in September 07. It
would also give the kids a little time to travel with us from church to church
all over Europe. This we know would be a special blessing to us as a family and
to the churches to see us all together as a family.
Family news: In September 16 Nida and I will be celebrating our 6th anniversary. I’m going to take her some where special but I will tell you later all about it dear church.
Nida is back teaching the kids at Sunday school, and before long she will be back teaching the ladies Bible Study also.
Norlisa will be 5 on October 11 and Anthony will be 3 this August 12th. They are now both going to a Christian school here in Cebu.
Baby Tony is now almost three months old and he is doing very well. He is so handsome ever body says, with his blue eyes and fair skin. Nida gets a lot of attention in public when she is seen caring Tony around town.

Bajau man saved.
Nida and I are really excited about this. Ales has being coming to church only a few months now although his wife Jerelyn and kids have being coming a lot longer than that. We have great hopes for Alex. He has such a big appetite to learn more about Jesus. He is truly full of the Holy Spirit. And he is just a baby in Christ.
The Bible says let the redeemed of the LORD say so. And so far Alex and Sauda are the only one who have stood up before the church and publicly given a testimony of salvation, whose dependence is only upon Christ. Although we have many who give good testimonies about God’s goodness to them. So far Alex and Sauda are the only ones who testifies of salvation.
Things to pray for: 1. Pray for Francis as he discipleship Alex and as Nida discipleship’s Sauda. 2. Pray for many more Bajau to be saved soon especially a young man called Bengie. He has such an appetite to know the gospel and he is praying to this end. 3. Building amen has started on Tonggo Island. Pray we can get our building permit soon so we can start to construct the church there. 4. Pray for Norlisa and Anthony in school. 5. Pray for the much preparation needed for our planed furlow next April 07
